Old Dancing Shoes

Yep, the old bar shoes.   Black pointy-toe high heels that have many scuff marks, worn out leather, but still have some more miles in them.  How about a new color to brighten them up and give them a make over?

I picked up a bottle of Folk Art outdoor acrylic paint in calypso blue ($2.50) and a foam paint brush ($0.50).  The Miller High Life costs about 20 but that is optional 🙂

I didn’t have any flexible tape so I used vasoline around the heel and sole edges to help keep the paint on the material.  It worked really well!  Two coats, 48 hours to cure, and…
